Autorenporträt
If someone would have told me years ago that I would be a published poet by the age of 29, I would not have believed it. Poetry has always been simply a vice to express my emotions. Never would I have guessed I would be sharing my story with the world. I grew up in Clarksville TN, surrounded by my amazing family who always supported me no matter what dreams I had at the time. I stayed in Tennessee until I was 12, at which point my mom, brother, and I moved up North to Massachusetts. It was in high school that I first saw the hand of God in my life. It was then that I knew God wasn't as distant as He once seemed, but that He was close and cared about all matters of my life. Early 2003 I started my college career at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. GO VOLS! However it was not until late that year that I met a couple ladies that started to show me who God really is. He is more than a wish granter, they introduced to me the true God, a loving, faithful, caring savior who died for my sins, and rose again. This completely changed my perspective on what I thought about God. Over the next several years I continued to pursue an education in aircraft mechanics, business, and early childhood education. I graduated my aircraft mechanics program and am currently looking to graduate with a bachelors in business management and early childhood education in the next year or two so that one day I can open my own business. As I continue my journey, my path may change but three things will not. My family will still be amazing and continue to cheer me on, my friends will always encourage and challenge me to be better, and my God will always be faithful, loving and sovereign.
