Similar to achieving career success or purchasing your first home, marriage is a major milestone. In an attempt to allow husbands and wives to deepen their bond, discover the joy of marriage, align their covenant according to Biblical principles, and establish their family structure without interference, many marriages have failed. Additionally, fear, shame and guilt have prevented husbands and wives from seeking resources and/or accountability partners to aid them during their time of need. Although marriage is a journey for husbands and wives to travel together, it should not be traveled alone or entered into without preparation. "My experiences regarding the major, yet intangible, life-altering, mind-blowing, heart-changing transition from singleness to marriage birthed this unofficial, informal marriage diary of mine." After reading this marriage diary, you will learn about common areas that affect most marriages. The personal confessions and Biblical standard and encouragement for each area will prepare single women for marriage and help married women uphold their commitment. Marriage is so underrated, it will break your selfish heart. Confessions of a Virgin Bride is the lifeline to prepare you for the glorious heartbreak.
