Autorenporträt
Ada D'Adamo (Ortona, 1967) se graduó en la Academia Nacional de Baile y se licenció en Artes Escénicas. Escribió varios ensayos sobre danza y teatro. Murió en 2023 en su casa de Roma, dos días después de que su libro Como de aire fuera nominado al Premio Strega, que le fue concedido, al igual que el Strega Giovani, el Mondello, el Premio Internazionale Flaiano y una mención especial del Campiello. También está nominada al The Bridge. En su memoria se creó el Premio Ada D'Adamo en el marco del Festival de Danza de Roma, para la mejor interpretación de la unión entre experiencia artística y función social. Además, ha sido incluida en la lista de protagonistas de la cultura del 2023 según L¿Espresso y nombrada una de las mujeres del 2023 por Corriere della Sera. Como de aire está en las listas de libros más vendidos en Italia y está siendo traducida en diez países.
