Autorenporträt
Pete Shelley is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist. Together with Howard Devoto, he formed quintessential punk band, Buzzcocks, in 1975. After opening for the Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks became one of the most controversial and adored punk bands of the decade until their halt in 1981. Since then, Shelley has released seminal albums such as Homo Sapiens (1981), XL1 (1983) as a solo artist, and has continued to tour with Buzzcocks since 1989.
