His research focuses upon parent-child relationships, mate selection, marriage, and fertility. Yongjun Zhang is Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Institute for Advanced Computational Science, The State University of New York, Stony Brook, USA. His research combines big data with statistical, network, and computational methods to study family, social, and political behaviour.
