This research was conducted in the community of Guanape, Bruzual Municipality, Anzoátegui State, during the period January-March 2010, with the participation of male adolescents in the fifth year of high school in this community, with the objective of developing cognitive-behavioral strategies for the operational management of the attitude of male adolescents with respect to the use of condoms.The evaluation criteria showed that the vast majority of male adolescents are aware of the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and practice safe sex as an operative attitude towards life, as well as that communication with their parents should be more open and there should be a lot of trust between them.
