One night full of nightmares, I called for help, and no one came. For a moment I thought the Nightmare-Eating Crocodile had abandoned me. But he didn't; he just had to move on. He taught me to be braver and explained that he would be taking care of my little sister. The nightmares are still there, and so is the Crocodile. He no longer lives in my house, but he's still there in the lessons he taught me about facing my fears.

Antonio Ramos Revillas estudió Literatura Hispánica en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Es conocido por sus cuentos y fábulas y ha desarrollado una interesante carrera literaria tras ser becado por diversas organizaciones para la creatividad y la investigación, entre ellas el FONCA. Es autor de otro libro infantil, La guarida de las lechuzas. Antonio Ramos Revillas studied Hispanic Literature at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He is known for his short stories and fables and has developed an interesting literary career after being awarded scholarships for creativity and research from various organizations, including FONCA. He is the author of another children's book, La guarida de las lechuzas.
