Produktbeschreibung
In this book, the author presents a new classification for the well-known sit and reach flexibility test (SFT), also known as the Wells bench, for the Brazilian population, since the Canadian table, commonly used for this test, seems to underestimate this population. Due to its ease of application and low operating cost, the WST is recommended and used by the main standardized test batteries around the world, but the classification of individuals into different levels should take into account the characteristics of the population studied, making it more reliable. In order to construct the new table, this study analyzed 16,405 individuals, which is a fairly representative sample. This book is aimed at health professionals, especially those who use the mechanisms of physical assessment to conduct flexibility training, and offers them the opportunity to use an instrument that adequately represents the population being assessed. Happy reading!
