Autorenporträt

Zimbabwean born artist, ibizo lami, uses multiple mediums to celebrate their personal experiences and identity. Some core themes in their work are motivations for positive mental health and love of good food. ibizo is the founder and organiser for 'Self Care Saturdays', an online event that discusses the nourishment of the mind, body and spirit. They are a former cohost of She Grrrowls, a feminist arts night in London and a regular feature at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. ibizo lami has performed live at multiple poetry events across the country including That's What She Said and Spoken Word London. ibizo has completed a run of Chosen Family at Brighton Fringe Festival, which has been adapted here for the page by Burning Eye Books.
