The author is a lifelong student of the Word of God. After being forced to face a life-threatening injury, he was presented with a stark choice. He could continue on his current path where God was only an abstract and inconsequential part of his life, or he could fully embrace the need to seek the Lord with his whole heart, mind, soul, and strength. At this crossroad of his very young life, he chose the latter path and, from that point forward, made every effort to follow it.
