Joanna is a 27 year old woman from Manchester, UK. She grew up in a Christian home and knew and loved Jesus as her personal Lord and saviour from a young age. She was a happy, confident content child. However, after years of bullying at school and hurt in her early years Joanna grew to hate herself and her appearance. She lost all confidence and pride in herself. Her life began to spiral out of control and her teenage years were full of anger, confusion and bitterness. She felt trapped by the pain she felt but couldn't explain, until she found herself making choices which lead to her hurting many of the people who had set out to help her, it was then she decided she needed to change. Through the love, care, and ministry of Jesus into her life through those who met Joanna in the wilderness she had found herself in, Joanna was able to see that freedom from her pain and deep inner joy and peace were possible. Now studying for a degree in Theology and Evangelism at Bible College, Joanna's heart breaks for the lost and the broken within the church of Christ. She recognises that there are countless people, men and women, young and old who believe in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross and go to church each week and yet don't know the freedom and authority they have in Him. Joanna is passionate about seeing healing and wholeness in Christ where there is brokenness. Joanna is passionate about sharing freedom and the love of Christ with others.
