Alex Carter has worked in, around, and for large corporations and government bureaucracies for decades, humorously capturing the essence of 'cubicle life' in his first novel, Chip Clementine and the October Surprise. When not thinking about Chip's latest adventures and mishaps, Alex loves cooking, being around family, serving in the U.S. Army Reserve as a 'corporate strategist, ' and generally finding ways to fight off the aging process. He lives in North Carolina with his wife and extended family.
