The Author: Birgit Zinzius is a leading international consultant on China, and is Founder and Managing Director of the Seminar for Intercultural Communication and International Management. She has lived for many years in Asia and in the United States, and has worked for several Chinese American media companies in San Francisco. She received her Ph.D. from from the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany for her work about Chinese Americans, and has published several books on China and the Chinese: Doing Business in the New China (2004), China entdecken (2003), China Business (2000), and Der Schlüssel zum chinesischen Markt (1996).
