This book is based on a research study with three objectives. The first objective of the study was to characterize Weight Lifters of Indian Universities to standardized human performance measures by their Balance Ability and Anaerobic Power in relation to Different Weight Categories. Second objective was to find out correlation between Dependent Variable (Weight Lifting Performance) and Independent Variables (Balance Ability and Anaerobic Power) and to study the joint contribution of Independent Variables (Balance Ability and Anaerobic Power) in predicting Dependent Variable (Weight Lifting…mehr

This book is based on a research study with three objectives. The first objective of the study was to characterize Weight Lifters of Indian Universities to standardized human performance measures by their Balance Ability and Anaerobic Power in relation to Different Weight Categories. Second objective was to find out correlation between Dependent Variable (Weight Lifting Performance) and Independent Variables (Balance Ability and Anaerobic Power) and to study the joint contribution of Independent Variables (Balance Ability and Anaerobic Power) in predicting Dependent Variable (Weight Lifting Performance). Third objective was to establish regression equation for predicting Dependent Variable (Weight Lifting Performance) on the basis of Independent Variables (Balance Ability and Anaerobic Power). The study was conducted by taking Balance Abilities (Static & Dynamic) and Anaerobic Power as independent variables. Weightlifting performance was considered as dependent variable. The subjects for this study were selected from Different Universities. A total of 120 male weight lifters from Indian Universities were selected, consisting of 15 from each weight Category.
