Autorenporträt
Joseph and Adela DeMichele are usually out collecting abandoned shopping carts. Like Joseph's father, he is drawn to the service business and loves to provide the community a service. Writing a children's book about a shopping cart, giving it life, has been an idea for many years. Carty was named by their daughter, Adela Marie, as they would often have focus sessions on ideas for the children's book. She is now 9 years old and contributes many ideas for future Carty books. Having three boys, one girl, and three grandchildren, Joseph and Adela stay busy and enjoy being part of their lives as they grow up.
