Autorenporträt
Todd and Cheryl Schleuning met at Woodstock 1994, have been married for 17 years and reside in Louisville, KY. They are the parents of Ella (14), Grayson (14) and Sophia Schleuning (11). They are authors of The Misphits: Story of Snake, their first children's book published in 2012. The Misphits are a group of young animal friends that lack the trait that is inherent to their species. The Story of Snake is an interactive tale about young animals, disability and overcoming adversity. Unable to slither since birth, Snake quickly realizes that his new school is old and inaccessible. With no crosswalks or ramps, just getting into the front door on his electric scooter proves to be a challenge. Will the Misphits be able to help Snake fix Animal Elementary? Cheryl has her Master's Degree in Learning and Behavior Disorders and is currently an assistant Head of School at a private, full inclusion school in Louisville. Todd and Cheryl also received a patent in March of 2016 for a T-Shirt Framing System which they sell on their website, shart.com. Ella and Grayson are beginning high school and Sophie is in middle school. All are avid volleyball players and major pet lovers.
