Produktbeschreibung
The objective of the present study is to search for a new producer of carboxymethyl cellulase (CMCase) that has the ability to utilize agricultural wastes such as sugar cane bagasse and rice straw and aiming to participate in decreasing environmental pollution through the utilization of these agricultural wastes. This aim will be obtained by investigation of different filamentous fungi for their abilities to utilize agricultural wastes and produce significant amounts of CMCase that has recently gained significant economic values in many fields such as in textile, food, pulp and paper and detergent industries. In this investigation, the proper conditions for the production of CMCase will be studied aiming to optimize the conditions for enzyme production taking into consideration agricultural wastes treatment, followed by biochemical studies on the crude CMCase to determine its properties. A study on the purification of CMCase and elucidation of the purified enzyme biochemical properties will be carried out to clarify its potential as an important enzyme.
