Laurie Kenyon has seven children ranging from twelve to twenty-five. She has homeschooled all of them. Laurie and her husband live in the small town of Mitchell, Ontario where they attend Bethel Free Reformed Church. Now in her last years of homeschooling, Laurie has begun to write down her many thoughts and memories. This is Laurie's first book. Laurie has written a second book titled, Learning to Yearn, Amidst the Storms of Life.
