I have always had a love for words and writing. When I started guiding, poetry was a beautiful way to capture the feelings and atmosphere of the day. Autorenporträt
Desirae Cram was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. At the age of twenty she started guiding canoe trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. This is where her love of creation and adventure flourished. Besides much time spent in a canoe, she also enjoys backpacking along the Superior Hiking trail and anywhere else her curiosity takes her. She has her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and is working towards a Masters in Outdoor and Adventure Leadership. Learning inside, and more importantly, outside of the classroom is something she is passionate about. Currently living in small town Ely, MN she continually seeks time and space to sit in wonder and reflection.
