The annual fair at Moretonhampstead, on the edge of Dartmoor, usually attracts a motley bunch of ne'er-do-wells. The year 1835 is no different from the others in this respect, only this time, among the miscreants, are Buckingham Joe and his sidekick commonly known as Dick Turpin. Autorenporträt
Cane Hills was born in 1953 and studied at John Ruskin Grammar School, Shirley, Croydon. He started working in data processing in 1970 and continued in this sphere for a third of a century, writing many technical documents during this time. He then moved into the world of stained glass, working predominantly on domestic properties in the London area. This is his first attempt to write for the general public.
