Join playful pup Bruiser on his debut adventure exploring his local park and discovering the wonderful animals that reside there. Readers will be entranced by the Australian fauna encountered by Bruiser, from cackling cockatoos and bouncing kangaroos to quietly munching koalas. A perfect rhyming read aloud, this exciting tale of a curious kelpie dog introduces the concepts of safe exploration, playing with friends and the wonders of the great outdoors. Another successful early childhood release by celebrated author and early childhood expert, Diana Smith, featuring boisterous Bruiser, a typically Aussie dog on a mission to play, explore and learn. Inspired by the author's actual pet, Bruiser's personality shines through on every page, from his wacky expressions to his curious capering as he excitedly searches for a friend to play with. Children will delight in the brightly coloured illustrations, aptly depicting some of Australia's most well known and loved creatures while they cheer on a playful puppy just looking to have some fun. The first in the highly anticipated Bruiser's G'Day series, this book appeals to both young and old, with a nostalgic nod to our beautiful native park lands that continue to shelter some of our most treasured furry icons.
