The existing monitoring system is complex, not too effective and not widely acceptable. There are also concerns by parents on the impact of some television programs being linked to rise in criminal activities in children. Therefore, there is a need to develop technologies for effective monitoring of broadcast and managing impact of programs in children. This research work developed a framework for effective information broadcast monitoring for parental guidance television (PG-TV) using digital watermarking.
