Jessica H. Clark (PhD Princeton, 2008) is Assistant Professor of Classics at Florida State University. Her publications include Triumph in Defeat: Military Loss and the Roman Republic (Oxford, 2014) and articles on the representation of war in Livy and Vergil. Brian Turner (PhD UNC-Chapel Hill, 2010) is Associate Professor of History at Portland State University. His research interests include Roman warfare and ancient geography.
