Autorenporträt
Bonnie Kitahata is an ardent nurse advocate. A nurse since 1985, she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including med-surg, DOU (step-down), ICU, float pool, nursing registry, operating room, radiology, home health, travel nursing, international volunteer, and senior home care. She also does volunteer work for senior adults locally. Throughout her nursing career, Bonnie has been disappointed to see many of her fellow nurses get burned out and quit because of the many stressors ad increasing demands that nurses are subjected to at work. Even worse, many nurses get burned out but don't quit, and continue to be miserable, leading down a spiraling path to impaired physical, mental, and emotional health. Bonnie is the founder of Breaking Burnout, a company dedicated to rejuvenating, inspiring, and empowering nurses toward more fulfilling nursing careers and lives.
