"Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a homemade treat for your lunch bag, or a good old-fashioned bagel, Breakfast Breads and Sweet Treats is what you need! With this book you can make a healthy homemade granola or a decadent Danish pastry, and everything in between. Learn the technique to make fluffy "cathead" biscuits and then another to give them buttery, flaky layers. Satisfy your sweet tooth with Banana Coconut Cookies (Fr. Dom's favorite) or Salted Butter Toffee Caramel Corn. Explore ethnic breads like Scottish Baps, Welsh Cakes, Greek Loukamades, and more. Discover just how easy it is to make puff pastry from scratch, and the variety of sweet and savory treats you can make with it. And if you've ever been disappointed by a dry, tasteless coffeeshop scone, the "Bread Monk" has the secrets to making scones with a tender crumb and just the right amount of crispness on the edges. English Muffin Bread, Multigrain Waffles, Sweetheart Coffeecake, Lemon Fantans--they're all right here, along with the clear instructions, helpful photos, and heartwarming stories you've come to expect from Fr. Dom. Let's bake"--
