We sought to analyze the career of the professional soccer player within a perspective of profound changes in the world of work, highlighting the formation of the idol, through his trajectory and how the end of the career exposes a context marked by the uncertainty of the future and frustrations in the face of an interrupted dream, where the resumption of stability presents the dilemma of accepting a new identity inside or outside this sport.
