Autorenporträt
I am a retired school teacher who grew up in West Point, Georgia. It's a small town. It is so small, there was just over 50 graduates in my senior class!I married during college, had one son, and finished my education degree when he was twelve. He now has a boat repair business which is awesome because he keeps my boat in good shape! I have a lovely daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, and lots of greats who are all healthy and beautiful.I taught elementary school for twenty-five years and loved it! Most of my career was in Kindergarten but, I also taught first, second, and third grades.I have been a widow since 2003 and I live on a lake in Alabama now with my Yorkshire Terrier, Beau. I enjoy family, friends, gardening, crocheting, boating, writing, and painting and I like to think I am open to new adventures. No, Beau! is my first children's book and it has been so fun to do! I am sure it won't be my last!
