The book is a summary of an investigation of BRD in Khartoum State. The used simplified BRD scoring system, assessed 6 clinical signs with specific points. A total score of 5 or higher classified the calf as a BRD case. Among 450 dairy calves investigated, 40 calves (8.9%) were positive for the scoring system. Out of the 40 dairy calves positive for BRD, 24 (60%) were male calves.
