Born 4 July 1966 in Gutu district of Masingo province, Zimbabwe. Attended high school at Alheit High School in the same district. In 1991 graduated with a Licenciate degree in Mathematics at Jose Varona, Cuba. Taught at high school from 1991 to 1995. Hold a Phd from the university of Zimbabwe, working in the department of Mathematics.
