Autorenporträt
Meta Commerse is a word medicine woman, teaching, writing, healing and performing her generative words. Blues Doula is her second poetry collection, the first, Rainsongs: Poems of a Woman's Life, (2012). Meta earned her MFA in Creative Writing at Goddard College studying fiction and the healing power of story. She is currently finishing her memoir, and a study of the effects of racism.
