Robert Cotnam was born in Noranda, Quebec. He met his wife in Montreal, Quebec while attending Concordia University, and then moved to Guelph, Ontario to marry her. After he and his wife had their three children, he started inventing and sharing his stories at the dinner table. These captivated the attention of his three young children and his wife. Robert is an international welder with an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. His hobbies include golf, cooking and fishing.
