When the righteous are in authority and become great, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh. (Proverbs 29:2) Leadership, no matter how insignificant in scope, will always be a challenge as its main tenet is responsibility for other human beings. We are told to pray for those in authority so that we can have peace (1 Timothy 2:1-4). But praying for our leaders can be tricky - because we often get in the way! In faith we can expect that these seeds will germinate and mature our leaders to excel in the godly fulfilment of their catalytic roles in our society. Blessing Leaders is a tool to pray for and bless leaders from Scripture. Our opinions will never accomplish the change our communities need. However, voicing the truths of the Father over countless influential people, will. His Word will never return void, but will accomplish and prosper in the thing for which He sent it (Is 55:11).
