The situation for the lecturer is a complicated one. His conventional role does not include the usage of technologies but the paradigm change makes it necessary. The lecturer role includes, maybe more than ever, the role as a knowledge manager. In our current society, lecturer and student are already used to the computer, the internet and various applications. Students are used to social networks like Facebook or MySpace and blogs to create their own content. The potential of these services can and will be used forclass and beyond. The goal of this book is to analyze the usage of blogs during class and to try to evaluate what should be done...and what eventually better not!
