Teen battles divisive knuckleheads for leadership of nation's schools. Dear Reader, My adventure with Blaze Union has captured the attention of an odd assortment of courageous people: educators and librarians fighting book banning bonfires; parents plotting to overthrow the social media regime that's turned their kids into screen zombies; citizens battling ludicrous culture wars; and teens leading the charge against Absurdity itself. Oh, and political scientists, anthropologists, sociologists, and reporters now daring to share Island Nation's upended cultural norms, rules, and rivalries. To be clear, this story-which has fantastic head butting-is not for timid or weak readers. Those with thin skulls should stop reading immediately (addictive concussions can occur). All eyes across Island Nation, especially on the island of outraged Sweeties, are glued on Mega Gossip's latest updates regarding fourteen-year-old Blaze Union, the Puddin' Head guitar-playing rebel. After Sweetie students attacked her school with a cookie bomb, yet she was expelled for resisting "large hand" rules, Blaze vowed to become boss of all schools, which many initially ridiculed. However, this fiery teen has now risen as the Puddin' Heads' greatest hope for not only leading the nation's schools, but also challenging the "supreme" prime minister himself-a powerful man with tiny hands, and a noggin as large as his appetite for division. Will Blaze's wild ambitions soar or go down in flames? Do you have the courage to catapult into a journey that thumps social absurdities with speeding, satirical head butts? If so, strap on your spoon helmet, and let the uproar begin! Spoons up! Heigi hooga! W.T. Kosmos Praise for Blaze Union and the Puddin' Head Schools ** 2023 American Book Fest, Fiction Book Award: Humor/Comedy/Satire ** ** 2023 Readers' Favorite Book Award: Young Adult Social Issues ** ** 2023 Literary Titan Book Award ** "Gloriously absurd... delightfully funny... larger than life." - Kirkus Reviews "An absolutely hilarious story that had me laughing at the odd behaviors presented in every chapter... The perfect book for those of you who may look around and ask, 'Is divisiveness becoming as absurd as I think it is?'" - Reader Views "A unique and imaginative work of satire." - Literary Titan "An original and fun read from cover to cover." - Midwest Book Review "Highly conversational, this is a tale that reads with ease." - Reedsy Discovery "A sensational tale." - The Book Commentary for ages 12 to 128
