Bladder Cancer-My Journey honors those people who challenge the status quo and are willing to venture far beyond their comfort zone into a world of uncertainty in search of a better truth. What started as a simple tool for communicating with family and friends has grown into so much more. It became therapy for the author, a roadmap for those that may follow and, we hope, an inspiration to those who are willing to look beyond acceptable practice and take charge of their own treatment options. This journey has expanded our outlook on life, opened our hearts in ways we never thought possible, and introduced us to a culture we never would have dreamed we would experience in our lifetime. We invite you to share in our journey in hopes it will enlighten you in ways you never new possible... as it has for us.
Autorenporträt
In January 2014, I was diagnosed with aggressive T2 bladder cancer and was told I had to have my bladder removed as well as my prostrate and lymph nodes. My wife and I chose a different path... This is our story. I am a 64 year-old retiree living with my wife Jan, in Orlando, Florida. But most important I am alive, cancer free and I have my own bladder. I am able to enjoy our two grandchildren with a third on the way. It's a good life and I intend to keep it!
