Autorenporträt
Ana M. Briongos was born in 1946 in Barcelona Spain, where she currently lives with her husband. Ever since she first travelled to the Middle East and Asia as a student, she has been fascinated by travel. She has worked and travelled extensively through both Iran and Afghanistan. Her short travel story "A Winter in Kandahar" was awarded the first prize in travel books, at the Latino book awards in New York City in 2009.
