Il a un indice h de 13 dans Scopus. Il a dirigé plusieurs projets de recherche. Il est membre de 11 sociétés scientifiques. Il est examinateur pour 30 revues. Il a supervisé plusieurs étudiants en maîtrise et en doctorat.
