The application of biochemical and molecular biological techniques to microbial systematics has provided insights that have drastically altered traditional taxonomic concepts. This book "Bioprospecting of Actinomycetes and its approaches" reviews the current research going in the field of Actinomycetes diversity, their novel compound and their use. The book will be a valuable reference to all those who work with actinomycetes and try to unravel their nature. This book will grab interest of scientists, students and other professionals who have curiosity in the field of identification and functional characterization of novel compounds from Actinomycetes. I explicit my thanks to co authors (Kiranjeet Kaur, Raman preet Kaur, Harman preet Kaur, Neha Grag, Neha Kaushik, Abhilash Ludhiadch and Shweta Sharma) on their contribution. Lastly, I would like to acknowledge our contributors Lambert publication that have made serious efforts to ensure high quality of book.
