Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) is an important cash crop, belongs to family Solanaceae.Bidi tobacco suffers from many disease caused by a wide range of pathogens, viz., fungi, bacteria, viruses, nematodes, flowering plant parasites and phytoplasmas. Pythium spp. are essentially soil borne and possess a great problem in disease management. Damping-off disease is difficult to control by small component of action.
