"I'm not gonna die like this!" Hal said it over and over again trying to convince himself. He grabbed the big hammer from the toolbox and started to beat on the windshield, pieces of glass flying everywhere. He had to stop and rest his arm a few times but before long he had a way of escape. But escape to where? He knew he didn't have the strength to climb up the steep snow-covered rocks and maybe leaving the cab of the truck was a terrible mistake, at least it provided some shelter. But he had to do something, even if it was wrong. I went to work for UPS in 1988 as a feeder driver and drove nearly 2.5 million miles for the company with a smile on my face every night. I absolutely loved my job even though it required me to work all night. I was diagnosed with MS in 2001 but never told the company until word finally got out." Even so, the Lord blessed me wonderfully all those years, and I made it until 2012 when I lost my health certificate, and the company said I should say goodbye. It was a sad day for me, I loved UPS and Spokane. But it was time to retire anyway so that's exactly what I did and I now reside in Arizona. ¿
