Maggie Elizabeth is an eight year old with a vivid imagination, which often gets her in trouble by her stern Grandmother. When her father loses his job and the bills pile up, it leaves them no choice but to pack up all their belongings and move from busy New York City into an old farm house, in Missouri, that has supposedly been in the family many generations.
