Produktbeschreibung
This book is a part of what I like to call the "best of" series discussing challenging cases facing modern radiotherapy and public health. This book focuses on topics of head and neck cancer (HNC), cancer genomic, and using most advanced robotic stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for head and neck tumors. Re-irradiation of recurrent HNC is among the most challenging cases to treat because of high normal tissue complication probability (NTCP). This book discusses in details the use of NTCP models and robotic SRS to treat challenging HNC cases otherwise very difficult to treat. There is a discussion on methodology in public health and on using U.S. government databases for public health studies. This series also discusses how community, culture, prose and poetry could heal us and tenderly preserve our memories and make loss from major illnesses gentle. This book may interest public health professionals and oncologists. Cheung@12.1.2015, Brooklyn Harbor.
