His literary references include authors such as Robert Graves, Roald Dahl, Juan Eslava Galán and many others. As a short story writer he has received many recognitions. As a novelist his passion for history and his need to narrate it left him to write award-winning Banderizos (Roca Editorial, 2015), his first novel.
