In junior high school, he completed a 3-year guitar course in an unprecedented 2 years. That was followed by a solo concert for the entire school, after which he signed autographs. He also learned to play nearly a dozen instruments before finishing high school, achieving another unprecedented school record by winning on four different instruments in a single competition.
