Greg Sarris is an award-winning author and tribal leader serving his fifteenth consecutive term as Chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. He received his Ph.D. in Modern Thought and Literature from Stanford University and has taught as a professor of Creative Writing and American and American Indian Literatures.
