Dr. Marlon Winedt Bible Translation Consultant Nelson Foendoe (1946) started his professional career as an engineer. In 1984 he got his teaching degree in Macroeconomics & Statistics and has taught Economics in the 4th, 5th and 6th year of secondary school in Curaçao until his retirement. In that same year he accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior. After having served in the Church Board of Iglesia Bida Nobo (New Life Church) for several years, in 2004, he was appointed as pastor of Iglesia Bida Nobo in Rio Canario, Curacao, where he serves to this day. Nelson is married to Lourdes Foendoe-Lovert and they have three adult children and six grandchildren.
