Kenesha Gassoso has been a registered nurse for nine years. She and her husband currently live in New York. They are a blended, multiracial family-she is of Caribbean descent and her husband is Italian. Kenesha drew inspiration for this book from her son. He is a perfect combination of both parents in every way. She wants him to grow up learning about both of their cultures, and not feeling he must choose a side-as many biracial children often feel. She hopes her son and other biracial kids will enjoy this story and know they should celebrate the unique beauty that is their identity.
