Ever since he was young, Martin Ford has dreamt of being an author and writing a book. He's always had lots of ideas and wanted to find a way of sharing his imagination and bringing happiness to people. As a qualified primary school teacher, he has spent many years enjoying children's picture books and has developed an understanding of what encourages children to read and write. He has a love of animals and the natural world and takes great inspiration from running through the Sussex, Dorset and Somerset countryside. He has written a number of picture books, all of which aim to bring animals to life whilst teaching important life lessons.
