Oli Ahmad (1941- ); Politician, writer, Ex Army Officer; PhD, Oxford Brookes Uni, UK. Served in Pakistan & Bangladesh Army. Revolted as Captain against Pakistan Army along with 8 East Bengal Regiment during the Liberation War of 1971. Joined politics in 1980 (BNP) & formed a new party LDP in 2006. Recipient of 13 national and gallantry awards.
