Darcy Nybo developed a love for writing in Grade 2 and still has her first book of very short stories. She believes her writing has improved somewhat since then. Darcy is a multiple award winning short story author and was voted as one of the best writers in her area for three years running. Darcy has put many of her children's books into the hands of students thanks to the Raise a Reader Program. She knows that sometimes you have to break the rules of writing and end a sentence with a preposition so people can live happily ever after. Darcy currently resides in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, where she works full time as writer.
